My first Ironman was in Florida and boy, did I learn a lot. It was my first ocean swim (ever) and first time swimming 2.4 miles (I know, I know, I should have swam the distance first). I ended up having a GREAT swim, a so-so bike (old road bike), and a pitiful run. But I finished and I'm pretty proud of that!
